Think of Bitcode invoices as the regular payment requesting system which is enabled by crypto assets or as a simplified manual crypto checkout system. Anyone can receive Bitcode invoices created and sent by a BitBarter user just by using the payer's email (i.e. the payer might not need to be a Bitbarter user). You can read more about Bitcode.

Requesting Bitcode Payment:

  • Register on BitBarter or log into your already existing account.
  • On the side menu, click Bitcode to get to the Bitcode page.
  • Click Request Payment.
  • Fill out the Recipient’s email and name, and choose the crypto asset and amount you want to send.
  • Click the ‘Proceed’ button and review all your inputs. Make corrections if necessary.
  • Then hit the ‘PAY’ button.

Redeeming Bitcode Voucher:

  • Register on BitBarter or log into your already existing account.
  • On the side menu, click Bitcode to get to the Bitcode page.
  • Click Make Payment.
  • Fill in the BitBarter Bitcode Reference (BBR number or Voucher code)
  • Check the validity of the Voucher.
  • Proceed to input the PIN and proceed to redeem it.

- Bitcode invoices can be fulfilled in several ways:

  • Invoice payments can be made on-chain (i.e. pay to Bitbarter from any wallet that is not Bitbarter's wallet, e.g. Trustwallet, Metamask, Binance, Paxful, etc.) by sending the required funds to the wallet address provided on the invoice. Payers don't necessarily have to be BitBarter accounts. Visit bitcode.bitbarter.io for more info.
  • Payments can be made from BitBarter's wallet using the BitBarter Bitcode Reference.

Visit bitcode.bitbarter.io to check for the Bitcode status.
